KISD doesn't go back to school until Sept 11
Be interesting to see the schools that are shelters now transition back to the norm
Mayde Creek and Cinco Ranch HS are both being used as shelters and have a lot of people still in them. Lots of talk about split schedules with the other KISD HSs taking on kids from other schools
Most of the other metro districts are figuring out their continuity plans now. I think kingwood HS still has water in it.

What community could drain 50 inches of water in less than 72 hours?
Houston drainage has issues, but to act like the drainage design is the reason for the current flooding is disingenuous.

Richmond is still in a LOT of trouble with the Brazos
Wharton is still cut off north and south
Glad to see most of houston recovering quickly

Friends and neighbors are not in as good as shape as me and I have nothing to complain about.
Well..... I can complain about the smell coming from Rummy's cubicle. I think it's that sushi he eats for lunch

Houston drains incredibly quickly. Hell stout, we were arguing this together before the storm.

We picked this house because of the neighborhood and the proximity to a brand new high school
Had no idea how fortunate we were when it came to drainage
We are VERY blessed
