Since the river was too cold to enjoy swimming in, we went to the Blue Ridge Rec Park to swim and get the baby wet! He had a blast playing in the shallow water.

We actually drove around the whole lake and will get a lake house next time. Such a beautiful lake!! This was taking at the marina

I finally got a delicious pizza margarita from Masseria's

The road that goes to the cabin (only about 6 other cabins on the river) has another road you can take for some cabins located higher up in the mountain that we took a few times.

Glad we did because we discovered two cabins with some cool amenities... 9 hole disc golf course the owners made plus this incredible pool we wanted to go get in but people checked into the cabin after we finally discovered it

We went to Mercier Orchards. You can pick on the weekends but we went Friday. This place huge and has tons of shite in the store to buy

The trip was excellent. Highly recommend Blue Ridge, GA as mountain getaway. I wish our boy was older so we could have hiked to see the waterfalls or even raft the rivers.

Welcome back to Louisiana! (few miles before Hammond)
Took us about an hour to go 10 miles

I've floated down The Toccoa a few times, fly fishing. It's fun when the topwater hatch is on. I've also camped on an Island on the Lake Blue Ridge too, and we set out a bunch of half noodles with hot dogs on them, and rounded them up the next morning. Caught a bunch of catfish. Fun chasing those things across the lake.

Really enjoyed looking through your reviews and pictures. There are definitely some cool things I'd love to try the next time we are up near Asheville.

Kudos for doing all of that with an 11 month old too. You must have a kid that loves to ride in the car.

Finally! After the 17,492 queries about what to do in Asheville, somebody finally comes back and posts photographs and a review.
