Good. Stay out of the best budget hotel in the country so us poors can enjoy a free "real" breakfast buffet and free drinks at happy hour for under $100/night.
You dumbass
And technically free dinner. The snacks during happy hour for Mardi Gras weekend were Chicken Strips, Loaded Baked Potatos, and Hot Dogs. Hell that was free dinner.

Westbank probably has some rooms available
For years I've taught people how to grab that La Quinta right across the bridge on Terry Parkway. Even before Uber it was only a bout $15 cab right from Canal to the hotel. Much better than staying Metry or Kenner during Mardi Gras or Sugar Bowls etc.

My google search says your search skills are terrible

Try searching for two nights on Hilton site. Just booked a room and there were several different hotels to chose fron

No doubt. sorry for a slight hijack but if you don't know about Drury Inn's perks, you should check it out.
I found out ~01-02 when I was in charge of booking rooms for our rugby matches out of town. You're talking a big deal when they always accommodated us(Corpus, S.A, Arlington, Austin) with hot biscuits, eggs, sausage, and the usual cereal and waffles, juices/coffee.
When 30 dudes get to eat a big breakfast on a game day and save the club $300x2(days), it's a no-brainer.
Has been since then.
TLDR Drury Inn is especially thrifty/smart if travelling with a family or group.
