NO doesn't flood with 2" of rain. When NO got 8" in 3 hours there was some flooding, but you could have gotten to a game in the Dome even on that day. And NO knows how to handle a game even with little notice. NO knows how to handle big events.

A few of you LSU people need to quit badmouthing Louisiana's major city. You are acting disgracefully.

The true disgrace, are the idiot New Orleans officials who made statue removal a priority, and not the pumps that protect the people.

But not big rain events. All it will take is a little jog with this storm and we are looking at repeat of flooding. But if the weatherman says it's not going to rain, or winds not going to blow, or it's not going to be much more than a strong TS I'd listen. Their track record speaks for itself.
