My Gym Just Got New Power Rowers

I've always wanted to incorporate rowing into my routine for some good cardio, but my gym for the last 6 years didn't have any rowers. Well they finally dropped some cash and bought 5 of the Matrix Power Rowers. These bad boys are pretty sweet. Been rowing between 6000 and 6400 meters in a 30 minute workout. did this about 5 times now. Breaking a nice sweat, and not having impact on my knees and ankles is nice. Any of you fitness gurus row on a regular basis for cardio? Supposedly it burns more calories per hour than running and about every other cardio machine at the gym. This is quickly becoming my go to cardio workout.

I'm not a fitness guru, but I've been rowing consistently for a year now. I enjoy it and have been doing about 4 days a week on average.
Watch some youtube videos and get your form correct before you really start pushing harder or further. Back issues for example are a common cause of poor technique. It's not just "pulling" on the handle. Rowers will tell you it is a pushing sport. Anyways, with proper technique it is relatively low impact and a good workout.

Love rowing. By far my favorite "cardio".
It can absolutely destroy you.
I'm not much on long duration workouts on it though. 2000 m is about as long as I'll go at once. Go all out on that and enjoy collapsing off the rower.
