The top golfers game what they want. They can pick brands with whom to sign deals. They can also modify clubs at their discretion. The top clubs don't have much of a difference in terms of performance, so really it's all what fits their eye.

They sign deals whoever OEM is coughing enough of the cash it seems.
I believe Mizuno irons were in majority of the players bags before the deals were made of the likes of Taylor Made or Callaway.
