A buyback is different from a lemon (as defined as a car that was repurchased by the manufacturer under the lemon law). Basically, nobody went to court for the buyback. The customer and manufacturer agreed to some form of compensation, and the customer likely bought another Ford in your case. We've historically had very good luck with buybacks from a repair/issue standpoint. Very rarely do they come back with issues related to the buyback cause. Everything must be disclosed to the dealer at the auction and the customer at the dealership, so they often come with a steep discount. What was the cause of the buyback if you don't mind my asking?

mainly electrical stuff.... warning lamps and gauges going off, and the truck not being able to restart. ran the test and rec'd some codes, changed out a pcm relay, and it worked fine afterwards.
another was a back up camera issue and water being in it.
