yeah that's a fair argument. I guess they figure these days most people either have apple tv, roku, amazon fire tv, etc etc.

Which isn't really different than cable channels.

To use those apps like NBC you still need a cable subscription to log into.

I have an Amazon Firestick, is that different than Fire TV?
