It's magic underwear man, come on!You believe it helps to fight off temptation and evil.

Of course it would not get to anyone who's Mormon, but for someone that's a Christian it's crazy. But hey, every religion has their spin on the Biblical Jesus and all of them differ a lot from what's wrote about him and what he claims in that book.

I lived by a Mormon family a few years ago, nice folks but some of the oddest people I've ever come across.

As far as the State game last year.State should have and it was a game of two flawed teams.

So I have a mildly related question... You can get kicked out of byu for having extramarital sex, which I get at least on some level. What about things like drinking or smoking pot etc?

Yeah, those are supposed to be out of bounds as well. Do people do those things and still graduate? Sure. But if you did them openly it could be grounds for expulsion.

In that any physical representation of one's faith might help to remind them of their devotions... if we wanna call that magic let's do it!

Some are odder than others to be sure. I've been told from non-mormons they think i'm normal. They're probably just saying that to my face and really think i'm nuts!

I haven't seen a BYU team that I wouldn't call flawed in one way or another.

You headed to the game? I'm going to fly into Austin and hang out there for some BBQ on Friday and head down Houston way for the game. Pretty excited for football season to start.

I'm just a lowly lurking BYU fan, but I gotta say, I like this Jangus dude. He's one good natured bloke who knows football. I hope I get to meet him someday.

I also hope I remember to come back here if LSU plays Notre Dame some time just to check out all of the Catholic jokes about pedophile priests, magic crosses, and whatnot. I'm sure that would be absolutely side-splitting!

I see that LSU plays UCLA in 2021 and Rosen will be long gone by then, but hey, maybe they'll have another Jewish quarterback, so then LSU fans can break out all of their Jewish jokes. That would be priceless!

If Wisconsin gets the opportunity to beat LSU again in the near future, LSU fans can use all of their Muslim jokes to honor Rachid Ibrahim's faith! That would be so LOL, man!

I already read some of your Samoan jokes after your starting RG recently fled Baton Rouge. Knee slappin' hilarious!

Keep it up fellas, don't change! So funny!

All those tired cliches about Southern hospitality are turning out to be absolutely true! Thanks for the warm welcome, guys!

In these parts, it usually means the kid is on some type of dope.

Y'all really suspend players for having sex?

Bad omen. Last year Wisconsin's ILB was hurt on the first play of the game and never returned. How did that work out for us?

Sweet, then I've got to ask -- what's the deal with wearing magic Rosary prayer beads, wearing magic ashes on Ash Wednesday, not eating meat on Lent, believing in the visions of saints and all of that? Is that stuff for real?

Yes they do, recruiting to BYU is difficult.

nothing magic about them. they are just sacramentals.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. But I suppose it's no different than believing some random guy in Illinois having a vision about golden plates and creating a new religion after the first 5 religions he attempted to start failed.

In short dogma is dogma.
