Would you recommend shredding or running a plow over the goatweed to knock out seeds?
I have birds on mine but I've heard the seeds don't fall out until October.

If you can round up it, when it dries up you clip it and it will do better.

Majority of seeds aren't fully mature in goatweed until late September/early October. Some will be mature now but I would let it ride until second split.
