The goat weed is on fire and the small patch of milo & sunflowers I plant is doing okay. I jump 8 or 10 and see a few on the power lines each time I ride the trail through it. Should kill a few opening day, but doubt we limit or anything.
Some of my set ups the last few years with decoys and mojos.
But, I'm really looking forward to going to Wichita Falls, TX mid September. That's where it goes down in some huge fresh cut milo fields.
You don't need mojos out there...
Dove season and LSU football kicking off... one of the best times of the year.

Would you recommend shredding or running a plow over the goatweed to knock out seeds?
I have birds on mine but I've heard the seeds don't fall out until October.
