If you could just rhetorically argue that the ethnic cleansing advocates had a right to be there, you don't have to face the question of trying to morally equivocate the advocates of ethnic cleansing with those that organized around fighting it.
Kinda like pointing out that the only people protesting ethnic cleansing advocates were on the left, which I don't know if that is true, but if it is, what does that say about the right?
