Okay, you modern day American Taliban history revisionists and snowflakes...

Let's just complete the politically correct (your version) cleansing of everything in the current state of affairs that offends you. Let's start with renaming Camp Beauregard, Fort Benning, Fort Bragg, Fort Gordon, Fort A.P. Hill, Fort Hood, Fort Lee, Fort Pickett, Fort Polk, and Fort Rucker. Then let's go on and change the name of Washington, D.C., state of Washington, all counties named Washington, all cities, counties and municipalities named Jefferson, all counties and cities named Jackson (after Andrew Jackson). Let's tear down all the statues of slave holding founding fathers and signers of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Let's just follow your logic and snowflake sentiments to these "logical" conclusions and erase and rewrite American history. You are all idiots.

Can we put Chase Bank out of business or boycott them at least since they had slave trade on their books for so long?

I see nothing wrong with no longer celebrating traitors to the US.

Nope. Don't know what The Newsroom is. I called it the American Taliban when people first started to call for the removal of historical statues because they were "offensive" to them. Sounds exactly like what the real Taliban was/is doing.

Works for me since we are erasing/rewriting American history.

Nope, but he was a traitor to his country and he owned slaves. Am I doing this correctly now?

Then tear any statues dedicated to those losers down.

Just to let you know. Thomas Jefferson's descendents fought for the Confederacy to. One of them is buried at VMI and was one of the cadets killed in the Battle of New Market.
Go read a history book.

And Jefferson died in 1826. Not sure any statues of him relate to the Confederacy - especially the way that most of the "Confederate" statues popped up in tune with the KKK and Jim Crow.
