Its clear that anything they disagree with, they will violently attack.
That will drive more people to, dare I say it, resist them.
The solution at this point is to name them as terrorist amd any and all activity by them will be under federal jurisdiction.
In turn, if the kkk starts attacking, do the same to them.

I wouldn't say label them as terrorist. That means lethal response. We do need to have a bigger show of force though. We need to find a way to show that violence and chas will not be allowed.

If you drive your car into someone trying to hurt them, it is your fault and your fault only. The end.
This is the same situation as gun crime where this board, rightly, refuses to let blame be laid on gun manufacturers or people who peacefully exercise their rights.
Regardless of what antifa did, unless they threatened this person's life (they didn't based on the videos) there is no excuse for what he did.

and there's no excuse for the media blaming the helicopter pilot's mistakes on the " rally linked to pro trump supporters"

I agree with that also. If I call 911 to report something and a cop dies in a car wreck on his way to my call, it isn't my fault. Same for these protesters.

im confident that a lot of the defensiveness you see from " the right" is fueled by the blatant bias all over the news. if they would just call it what it is instead of trying to have a gotcha on half the country, mostly everyone would be on the same page.

Except I don't think the bias justifies this defensiveness. We, as conservatives, should hold ourselves to a standard. Whether the media is biased, or antifa is a bunch of dickbags, there is a level of acceptable behavior. Driving your car into people to try and maim or kill them certainly falls below that threshold. So does walking around with nazi flags.

Nobody is excusing what he did. Im not going to excuse what Antifa set out to do either.
That's the point. Either we want to to end and heal or you don't.
You can not allow antifa to continue to attack people who are peacefully gather to voice their opinion.
Like wise, you can not allow the kkk to do the same if Antifa wants to protest peacefully.

Dunno its almost as if we have people we pay to keep the peace...... maybe that would be a more appropriate approach than driving a fricking car into some people that seemed relatively well behaved.

Nobody is disagreeing with that.
However, a lot if people are to the breaking point with Antifa and the far left being militant and forcing them into positiins they dont want to be in.
At some point, if its not stopped, you are going to have more than a simple vote to correct it. Matters in hand is historically the next step.

Such as what happened today? So you assertion is that this group should be branded as terrorists and outlawed because they are pushing their opponents to have to kill them?
If someone from antifa attacks some put them in jail. If someone from a new nazi group attacks some, put them in jail. Neither side should be treated different from the other here.

But is that even happening? I don't know. After today, it seems they have been glorified by the media. Empowering them.

Thats a great thought, but the truth is they are not. In Berkeley, the mayor told police to not interfere.
At some point, we are going to pay the price.

I think you have today's events mixed up just a tad.

Again that to me is a separate issue. The media bias isn't a justification to start labeling groups as terrorists. Nor is it a good reason to hem and haw about condemning what this fricker did.

Look at what happened today. The racist assholes get a stay order, ANTIFA is bussed in, and the governor declares a state of emergency and pulls the police out. It's a shitshow from all sides.

Then vote for a different mayor, or leave Berkeley. A lawsuit against Berkeley or a FBI investigation is warranted.
Outlawing an entire group of political enemies is the same anti-freedom bullshite the left is pushing about nazi's. I find both groups detestable.

Not hem hawing. Had the group not have been bussed in, the dude wouldn't have done what he has done.
The fact that people have forgotten what ANTIFA has done over the past year is frightening.

No. Because of the actions. They are the epitome of domestic terrorists.

As if anyone disagree with this. Save your high ground for church in the morning.
