You get kinda serious with a girl and you meet her mom and can't see past it. She's so fat and ugly that you have to cut ties

i get the angle but you arent with the mom.
if the girl starts gaining weight, put an end to it or get rid of her

If her mom is fat and ugly then she is too.
Pics of the big ugly?
ETA: the girl not the mom

Not because fat and ugly but once I met her mom I knew that there was no future. Didn't want her as a grandmother. She was a PETA activist type.

Not because of fat/ugly mom; mom was reasonably hot. Downside was that they were 'besties', and the daughter told her waaay more shite than she needed to know. Like that thing I did that she really liked. Throw in seeing Mom lose her shite at the father 3 times on the first day I met them, and the batshit alarm went off.
Sure enough, I knew the dude she ended up with-- and that poor bastard hates his life now.

The opposite, actually. I stayed with a girl because of her mom. And dad. They were cool as shite and loved to play pool and darts with friends in their garage on Saturday nights. The girl was annoying as shite and a drama queen. She loved to argue over literal nonsense. She "broke up" with me once because she said I liked her parents more than her. She was spot on.

Not because of looks.
I dated a girl for almost 5 years from high school through sophomore year of college.
Her mom started asking me when I was going to propose and talking about how we could live in the cul-de-sac where the mom, both her siblings, and the grandparents had all lived all their lives.
No thanks.

Not exactly because of her mom but sort of. Her mom influenced her religious beliefs, because her dad's side was Arab. My ex was Muslim and it was one of the major head ons we had. No way in hell I would allow her to indoctrinate our potential kids to worship a prophet who married an 8 year old.

Yeah. This chick was pretty chill and the sex was great, but her mom was an alcoholic and an absolute head case. I liked the girl a lot, but between the mom and the beer gut this girl was developing I just couldn't let it go on for any longer so I cut things off.

You don't just marry the person, you marry the family.

My ol lady was adopted. So I have nothing to compare to. But her adoptive parents are pretty dope.

Meeting the parents is sizing them up as well and whether you want to be stuck with them the rest of your life.
On the plus side, today you can just Facebook stalk and learn a lot before getting involved with a trashy family.

I was dating a daughter and afterwards took her Mom out a few times. Does that count?

No, but I should have. My ex's mom is miserable and a pill head. Guess what my ex turned into?
