My fan status of the original is unquestionable.
I think I've figured out the plot already - they're all replicants and Deckard knows it because of his experience with Rachel. "Humans" just don't have the 4-year expiration.
This was a big question from the source novel. It has been a question for fans of the film. There is even a conflict - Ridley says he directed the film as if Deckard was a replicant that didn't know it. Ford says he played the part as if Deckard was human.
Great science fiction themes, though, as "what does it mean to be human" is at the essence of most great works of the genre.

yeah i'm assuming in addition to your big reveal, he admits he figured this out because Rachel died and he didn't after he discovered he was a repilicant. i figured this (some derivation of "humans" are replicants and Deckard is a replicant) had to be the plot when i saw Ford in the trailer. nothing else really makes any sense
