I think The Night Game's single is pretty badass

Luckily we got a full band encore in Albuqerque and not the piano

Yeah the piano sucked, every city seems to be different. His beginning for me was killer

Just got home, did not disappoint. Very Continuum heavy, which certainly isn't a bad thing.
He could have easily ended with Gravity, but I'm not mad at him for singing one extra piano tune.
Did enjoy the Prince mini version of Beautiful Ones, wasn't expecting that.
Overall, we enjoyed it. He's never going to be a conversationalist, but dude can play and sing as good as anyone. Glad we went.

The quality of his lyrics over the years is really astounding. Incredible songwriter. Backs it up with great live performances. Loved the show tonight.

Ive noticed that cities where he plays amphitheaters with permanent stages, usually get a full band encore.
In arenas where the entire stage is portable, they get the piano finish, because the stage allows for the instruments to disappear and the piano to come out.

Saw him in Chicago and it was a great show but he played a lot more Paradise Valley and Born and Raised stuff. The show last night was more popular songs and he seemed to be improvising and having a good time a little more than the Chicago show. The sound in Chicago was much better but than NO but both were still great shows.

Speaking of sound, I literally couldn't hear Pino all night. I'm sure he was playing, I could see his fingers moving, but from my seats (lower level, midway down 'sideline'), the bass was nonexistent.
ETA Happy that I didn't go to Chicago, was not sad that he left Paradise Valley completely off setlist last night.

That sucks. He was crystal clear at our show

Helluva show. Mayer was crisp and on point, as always.
The setlist, from this fan's perspective, was a triple with the runner held at third. Borderline in-the-park homer. Super awesome.
Also the ladies were looking scrumptious. They eat out of Mayer's hands. Lots of slippery seats and dripping drawers. Yum.
Had a blast.
