I wonder how many people would be okay with rehiring Curley Hallman as long as he said to the media in every interview that he's learned a lot since the early 90's?

It would depend on how good of a binder he can put together.

For fcks sake. You tards have been at this for 9 months now.
How about discussing the link and how the season might go instead of turning every damn thread into a Miles and O debate?

It would depend:

Did Curley take over a P5 team that was pre-season #1 and wind up unranked the previous season? The first team to do so since the 1960's.

Did Curley take over a team that had gone 4-7 in its last 11 games?

Did Curley take over a team that was 3-2 on the season with the wins being against Hawaii, Utah St and Boston College and one of the losses being 62-41 to Arizona St?

Did Curley take over that team and go 5-2 with a win over the #4 team in the country and get the team back into the rankings and a bowl game?

Did Curley take over another P5 SEC team that had gone 4-5 in its last 9 games? Three of the losses were to Arkansas (31-14), Ole Miss (38-17) and Wisconsin. Those four amazing wins were against TX A&M (19-7) at LSU, TX Tech, Jacksonville State, and a thorough whooping at LSU of Mississippi State by 3 points.

Did Curley take over that team and without a true OC go 6-2, get the team to a national ranking and win a bowl game?

If Curley did those things I don't see why people would be against hiring him.

Sometimes, what a coach shows on the field amounts to a hell of a lot more that what he says in press conferences.
