I don't know why that hood didn't really take off. There's some big houses and good sized lots in there but flooding is a concern since they're all raised. (Not sure if it's ever flooded there or not).

Yeah, I looked at that neighborhood too, but a few things to consider are flooding, the price of building with the pylons etc, size of home needed, then comes the hassle of climbing that many stairs on a daily basis with kids and their stuff. Those were all detractors for me.
