don't stay in the Days Inn near the airport, but I guess that's more than obvious.

I've been to all SEC venues save Mizzou and I can honestly say Knoxville has probably been my favorite. Fans are friendly, location right there on the river is awesome, always a great time.

As far as the stadium goes ... well you're going to be packed in their like a can of sardines. It's really a tight fit and I am not exaggerating

Yep, only 12 inches per seat, other SEC stadiums are 16 inches per seat. This is how they get the 100,000+ attendance

I live about 20 min outside of Knoxville toward the Smokies. We moved up here 10 years ago from BR. Knoxville is a pretty good host for game days. Tailgating is really odd bc UT is downtown but the fans are pretty good. There are plenty of nice places to hang and eat on game days. Calhoun's is a pretty nice spot but the Market Square area has better options! As said before the stadium is uncomfortable, they pack people in. They have done lots of renovations but seating is terrible!! Can't wait to see Tiger Nation take over downtown Knoxville! Geaux Tigers!!

Went in 2011 (It was my 21st birthday )

Tailgating was fun, nice fans, vol navy was cool. Everyone knew LSU would win, so it was "loud" but not crazy.

The UT band played the LSU fight song which was cool and the team running out of the T was awesome.

I go every year we play up there. Family has friends that rents a big party barge and we spend the day getting f'ed up and then walking about 4 blocks to the game. Hell of a time

Rude. Anyone ever been to Knoxville? I may can get my hands on some student section tix. How are the fans there? I know I live here. Sometimes it's in the newspapers about it. Really against Alabama and Fla.
