Well I may see it differently when someone is losing work because of some a-hole couple dogging her on Facebook.

You don't know how.muvh business she may have lost over it. That spans until she quits working. Not just a year or 2

She was booking 75+ events a year before the slanderous accusations. She's down to 1-2.

That was 3 years ago.

At $5,000/event that's $375k she's already out.

This lady had a 500k+ studio revenue before all of this shite went down. She was shooting 65+ weddings a year at 5k a pop base plus her studio work.

Our wedding photographer was really, really good, but she kind of hid in the fine print that you have to buy each individual print afterwards. My in-laws are older (70+) and didn’t see this in the contract when they signed it. The prints were like $40 at the cheapest for a small one and up to $200+ for the really big ones. This was on top of the $7k the photographer cost. I thought this was ludicrous and absolutely regret not reviewing the contract first, but the mother-in-law insisted they had it handled.

Anyways, I called the lady and reasoned with her and she gave us all a disc with all the digital prints on them, in exchange we agreed to order 2 large prints in frames from her.

Moral of the story is you don’t need to act like a child on social media to get what you want.
