Well obviously this is a trap and you will somehow pay for going to the game, though I don't see why you should be expected to go to the hospital. Her brother's wife is having a baby? Geez.

You can "still" go to the game and "it's up to you?" There's obviously an implicit expectation that you tend to her wishes in this matter.
