Austin and Ty are his grandchildren. Not his nephew's. Ty needs to move up to the 3rd car.

Kenseth to the 10
Ty Dillon to the 27
Richard Petty expands and puts Bubba in 44
William Byron to the 5
GMS moves up to Cup with Kahne and Spencer Gallagher
Daniel Hemric moves from Xfinity to Cup to drive the 13.
Wild card: Justin Allgaier to the 77
Ty Dillon to the 27

quote:I don't know how many teams will expand in the near future because of the "charter" crap that NASCAR instituted a couple of years ago. Unless there is a team or two that is thinking about folding and willing to sell a charter, you aren't going to find sponsors who are willing to pony up money for a car that may not make every race.
I wonder if there's any appetite for Roush to expand again to bring Bubba up
I do think Roush has an extra charter and is leasing it out to the 37 team, so they could pull it back in house if they wanted.

Thing is the 37 charter is for Chris Buescher who is still with Roush, don't see them pulling it from him to give to Bubba although I think Wallace could do well with it.

Bubba needs a ride in the cup series next year. He's fun to watch.

Someone wanna give me a power ranking of current owners/teams? I'm so out of the loop. Would be interesting to see how it stands today

If you're worried you might DNQ with this field, you might as well stay home.

CGR is losing Target. Does this make them up the ante to keep Larson in the fold if RHM tries to put him in the #5? Does it maybe push Larson to RHM? I have no doubt Larson will be able to get a sponsor on board wherever he ends up, but the Target sponsorship was basically CGR's safety net if he left. I don't see anyway he doesn't get everything thrown at him to stay because finding a driver with a sponsor already or ready to jump on board is incredibly difficult.

Does RCR replace Menard in the 27, or do they shut that team down. Smart money would say that the other Dillon brother gets the ride.
I have only read the OP but supposedly Ty's deal with Germaine is for multiple years but that doesn't mean the cantnget him out of it especially with the alliance
I don't think Danica is going anywhere unless she wants to or sponsorship dries up which I don't think is happening
Kenseth will get a ride

. As far as Blaney, I think that is a good fit for him and by fit, I mean driving for Penske. However, I can't stand his two new teammates and hopes he out performs both.
I'm a fan of Blaney's but not really penske's other drivers myself that said his cars are already built and housed in Penske's shop per pictures I've seen and their alliance do I don't really think the "fit"'will change

Semi-crazy idea: JR Motorsports fields a cup team with Kahne... he's already worked with them in Xfinity
It's not crazy but both kelly and Jr have repeatedly and recently said that they don't have any interest in moving to cup plus there's some debate about hendrick having to sell his 50% stake if they did due to the four car limit

Menards is covering 25 races, I think I read. You know its gonna be yellow. I cant remember when the Wood Bros car wasnt red and white.
It's been different colors for significant stretches before including highlighter yellow at least once but the main period was when the Air Force sponsored the car it was blue and white. I think Ricky Rudd drove it for most if not all of that period

rive for them with Childress's mediocre nephews whining about.
If you are talking about Austin and Ty they are his grandkids not nephews
Thy said I think it remains to be seen how good they are, the equipment is more than a little suspect right now and Austin at least has proven himself at the lower levels

Isn't every week the same in Nascar?

Honestly bubbas best move is probably to wait for Bayne to get the boot then get in the 6. But they'll need to keep or find a sponsor and that has proven difficult especially for Rousch
Of course there is the other of matter of Bubba finding a ride in Xfinity until then which I feel like he needs to do but idk the answer to that

My understanding is that they already have some of what he needs lined up, one of his current sponsors that is gonna take an expanded role
Sponsorship has become really hard to come by but CGR for whatever reason maybe partially due to the Indy car operation has always been very good at finding it. I would be shocked to see Larson go anywheee for next year anyways

its pretty mind blowing that Target has stuck with Ganassi all of these years, now that they are finally competitive and winning races, they bail. Crazy world we live in.

NASCAR is not the audience Target wants. Just my guess.
