That is insane. Why should anyone be forced to give that much to the government? After all other taxes that person will probably be paying close to 55 or 60% of their income to the government.

Typical middle class household is paying over 35% tax rate when all taxes are tallied, gasoline tax, local sales tax, personal property tax, real estate tax etc. Most people have no clue how much tax they pay annually.
