Does your card cover liability too? If not I'm surprised they let you out of the building without proof of liability coverage.

And the onus is on you to check your coverage.




This is the one time where "check yourself before you wreck yourself" isn't just a nickels worth of free advice.


ETA wether you're looking at skinning the doors or completely replacing them, the fender and the bedside panel will need to be blended along with the painting of the doors.

My CC insurance told me "sorry we can't cover trucks, nor antique and high end vehicles, it's in our policy"

you are right, I should have read their policy in details

I'm pretty sure when you rent a car it comes with liability to a degree. That's why they don't care if you are covered, I've never been asked for proof of liability and they'd have to get it otherwise.

I believe the only thing you aren't covered for is the damage to your own vehicle.
