What city did this take place in?
It's a scrap metal truck, it says ______ Metals on the side of the trailer, maybe looks like starts with a C or O.
See if you can find a the name of a matching scrap yard in the area, for the most part those guys aren't going far, as in, odds are they're not going cross-country. Especially in a day cab.

Maybe the checkpoint/weigh station guys will help you out. Depending on which was he left, they could pull video of him coming in?

Pretty sure you could show this photo to any of the scrap yards over there and they could tell you who it is based on this logo.
