The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed third-year CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste, the club announced today.
“I’m excited for another opportunity,” said Jean-Baptiste. “It’s been a year since I’ve been on the field. I’m just happy to show what I can do. It feels really good to be back in Florida.”
Jean-Baptiste, 6-3, 218, has previously spent time with Kansas City, Seattle and Detroit after originally being selected by New Orleans in the second round (58th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. Jean-Baptiste has appeared in four career games, all of which were with the Saints during his rookie season. Most recently, Jean-Baptiste was signed by Kansas City on May 19, 2017, before being waived on June 15.

Hard to believe he was picked before Juice Landry. And about 300 other better NFLers

Just went back and looked at the 2014 draft. That year was absolutely stacked at WR. Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans, OBJ, Cooks, Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Mathews, Allen Robinson, Jarvis, Martavis Bryant

I think this is one of the reasons we let Cook go. There will be a lot of big contracts given out, but the market will be saturated and bring the value down so hopefully we can land a QB starved WR like Landry or Hopkins.
