That's from using ethanol gas I was told. Mine did the same thing. The replacement hoses are not supposed to do that. Mine is a 1997 and it had the same problem about 3 years ago. No problems since.

Yeah, that's what I heard too. So...what exactly is the benefit of this ethanol? Seems to cause problems in everything it is used in.
