I just updated and I added some videos of her routines.
LSU does have a legit shot to compete for a national title. Its horrible to say this but Ewing and Zamardi's scores can easily be replaced. Losing Gnat was what hurt.
But after all of these additions we look like we can definitely compete for a title. We have the talent that can do it.
On vault we need to replace Ewing and Gnat. I expect Priessman (if healthy) to compete her 1 1/2. Kelley and a couple of freshman should compete for that other spot. We really need to keep pushing the 1 1/2 vaults, the extra .05 we pick up from difficulty is huge and is why LSU puts up big scores.
Bars we only lose Zamardi, I am going to predict Durante to step in and put up big scores on bars. Extremely clean. We need to reconstruct Ruby's routine, way too much difficulty, which is why she gets hammered.
Beam, I expect Lauren Li, Christina Desiderio, and Reagan Campbell will all compete for the last two beam spots. We won't miss a beat here at all, we might actually be improved to be honest.
Floor, I actually think we can be better. Desiderio, Dean, and Edney will all be able to step in and make a splash for sure.
Kelley will put up Gnats scores this year and I expect Christina to put up major numbers on floor.
Only concern for the team next year is replacing two good vaulters. That will be the biggest question marks as we already have the pieces to be just as good on every other event

The biggest X factor won't be talent. It will be the ability to live in the moment and never let the moment become too big. The last two teams had incredible leadership from the three seniors who were tremendous influences on the younger gymnasts. The torch has been passed and the bar has been raised and it will be interesting to see how quickly this team establishes its identity.
