However - it is almost certain that with the radical ideology driving the left wing radicals, if they ever take control again the 'soul of the senate' will be road kill on their way to enacting whatever social justice, virtue signaling, utopia seeking, logically dysfunctional brain fart arises in their fevered brains.
These two diametrically ideas have me stranded in the middle of the road with the log truck bearing down on me. I don't know which way to jump.
My brain tells me to accept the latter reality, while my heart is fully devoted to the former.

Over thinking it
The filibuster isnt really all that important as its made out to be
We have 2 chambers, an executive and a judiciary
Thats PLENTY of checks. If America fills that with democrats, that's the way the cookie crumbles
