It truly is astounding how a party can step on it's own dick so many times. They should be securing a multi-generational legacy right now, considering how easy of a target the Dems are nowadays, and how the Dems are 2 elections away from being erased. Yet, here comes the retarded Republicans, doing everything in their power to ensure they become more irrelevant than the Democrats.

Republicans never really wanted control of the government. They want the left to control the government, and simply want to sit on the sidelines and say "if i was in charge, i'd do this", while secretly hoping they are never in charge. They are not leaders.
