Android to Android - new phone transfer - Done! Thanks!

I have a new phone coming on, and this will be my first time doing this. Music has always been the worst for me in the past, and I usually just send every song from old phone to a computer, then from computer to new phone.
With contacts, the last time I did this, I ended up with a list that included every person I've ever emailed. My only easy fix for that was an app that would only list contacts with a phone number. So, I need help with that. Having the stock app plus the other resulted in multiple notifications.
So, looking for apps or methods-the fewer the better, but if I need to handle each category separately for best results, that's fine too. Oh, the less cloud type methods the better.
Can any of this be done by Bluetooth ?

You're joking right? Why on Earth don't you have your music on Google play?

You're doing the phone thing wrong.
Why don't you have Gmail or Outlook handle your contacts?
I haven't lost any data on my phone in like 10+ years because i see my phone as a temporary cache. Even my shitty little Nokia back in the day would pull my contacts from Outlook and that was in like 2002.
I hard reset my phone probably 3-4 times a year and aside from keying in a few passwords everything just comes right back.
You don't need to involve a computer or any special apps.

Use all of Google's app to back up your contacts, photos, music, and app data.
Play music app holds 20,000 songs.
Google photos has unlimited storage for photos. If you're contacts are saved to you're Google Account they will sync and can be accessed from Gmail and should automatically restore.
Depending on what phone you get when you start it up it will ask if you want to restore from a previous device and you just go from there.

i'm just busting your balls.

you have to take your lumps before you get offered any actual advice on here.
but seriously, you need to upload your music to google cloud. its life-changing.
you can also 'filter' your contacts that are displayed on your phone to the ones you "officially" add in gmail so you don't see all those garbage contacts of people who randomly email you.
you do have to actually take the time to set them up however at least once but then you're gold.

There's a phone setting that will only show contacts with a number.

His response was only one of those and like a great philosopher once said "two out of three ain't bad".
