distance as well as driving back after drinking is the problem.

If park is in metairie somewhere, not so bad, not sure what options there would be downtown. Chalmette at old 6 flags site wouldnt be terrible. Would need to do a minute park type retractable roof type park.

NOLA will never get a team. The smallest market right now is Kansas City, and their metro is 2.1 million. NOLA is the size of Bham and Memphis.

I know they've been mentioned, but man I wish the situations in Puerto Rico or Cuba were better. Would be awesome with how baseball crazy those areas are. Plus wouldn't be far travel if Miami isn't a big deal

For realistic options, seems like Montreal would make the most sense. Canada showed big time support for those recent Blue Jays playoff teams.

Surprised I haven't seen more people mention Nashville in this thread. Also surprised at the lack of Vegas talk...not that I think it'd be a good idea but it seems like that's always in the mix for any professional sport expansion team

ETA: San Antonio would surely have plenty of fan support, but I don't think it's realistic with 2 other Texas teams and all the politics involved with that (just like NFL). Put it on the side of town closer to Austin and then you also have the San Marcos area not far
