I do not care enough about people who don't take care themselves to cheat my family out of money in order to finance poverty, if that's what you're getting at! The only problem with healthcare and it's costs prior to Obamacare were 1. The fact that we can't deny people at the ER door, which I believe we should do and make law and 2. The price of the drug industry, which is simply a cost associated with the best drugs and research in the world. Now, stop relying on the govt to fix your problems and fix your own situations in life by making better decisions and teaching your kids to make better decisions themselves instead of indoctrinating them in excuse-hood!

Please explain how a child with cancer isn't taking care of themselves.

This is an excellent response.

These people are not only cheating my family, but diluting the help that the truly needy should be getting.

People choose lifestyles/purchases they cannot afford. Most of these decisions are based on ignorance and/or covetous.
It's sad indeed, but those who are responsible should not bare the burden of there negligence.

I'm not talking about the few that fall on hard times through no fault of their own and continue to try to move forward. The system should be able to absorb these.

It's the lazy people of all races that do not want to better themselves, of which there are many.
