That's not at all accurate. You came here asking if we were cutting ties with these two kids. Thus, you were uninformed on that topic.

HOw would you know, "the coaches didn't want him?"

I agree with you. I have nothing against Washington, but there are better DB's out there that have interest in LSU. If it wasn't for his 2 teammates at Evangel, I don't think his commitment would have been accepted.

Yeah, because the coaches have never been wrong in their assessment of a player.

I can see Washingtons spot. Instate at a big time football school.

Griffin, I have a hard time seeing him taking a spot without the other 1 or 2 teammates being delivered. I think everybody kinda knows thats why he was offered, and now that they left, well......

One from a mid of the pack Big 12 school

In 2014, TCU finished 3rd in the country, AP & Coaches.
In 2015, TCU finished 7th in the country, AP & Coaches.
In 2016, we had a bad season and finished 7-6.

Based on TCU's recent recruiting, I think we are more likely to see more seasons like '14 and '15 rather than '16 in the near future.

I think a lot of other D1 schools would be offering if he could "ball".

You are making the mistake of assuming stars mean everything. Fit and opportunity can matter even more:

Ex. Kavontae Turpin's biggest offers were TCU, Texas Tech and La Tech.

And I am sure everyone here could list a player that was small in stature that went on to do well in college. They could also list a ton of players with many offers who did not do much in college. Recruiting is still very much a crapshoot. But TCU does have a good reputation for finding overlooked players so their offer should add legitmacy to a player not detract from it.

Agree. I would not call TCU a middle of the pack Big12 program.

They, along with OU, OSU, TU, will run the conference for the next 10 years if it survives.

False. Tcu is definitely a middle pack program.

2012: 7-6 and 6th/10 place
2013: 4-8 and 8th/10 place
2014: 12-1 and 2nd/10 place
2015: 11-2 and 3rd/10 place
2016: 6-7 and and 5th/10 place

Congrats man. 2/5 years you had good seasons.

Oh, and last year you finished 6-7, not 7-6. So your a middle of the pack program since joining the big 12. Like I said

Now days it's not about the coach keeping players, it's the players choosing you.

You clearly don't understand TCU's recent football history. I could explain to you why 2012 and 2013 were aberrations and highlight the success of previous veteran TCU clubs like 2009 and 2010 but I doubt you want to hear the facts. TCU is likely going to be just fine in the future and you will regret having said these words.

BUT, they are a Big 12 program and that would put them near the bottom of the SEC.

What are you trying to prove dude, because it is not working? Fact of the matter is TCU is a average Big 12 school with Conference USA facilities that has been irrelevant since before WWII. Get this, WE DO NOT CARE what your cute program did in 2010 or today and why are you trolling on a LSU recruiting board anyway?

With those records you can't argue with anyone saying you are a middle of the pack team. It's not like you're in the sec facing top competition every week.. the big 12 is an absolute joke and you're still winning half of the games. When you face sec schools you get smacked right back into reality. Just accept the fact that TCU is just not on the same level as LSU and join A&M in being our little brother to the west.. I do agree with you in your other post in the fact that TCU does have nice facilities but when it comes to your team it does not compare to really anyone in the sec.

Disagree. TCU would be between Arkansas and Mississippi State imo. Far from Bama, LSU, Florida, etc., but still not like they couldn't beat Kentucky/Mizzou and obviously Ole Miss.

Time will tell. It is an interesting time in recruiting in the State of Texas with UT and OU changing coaches and Baylor well being Baylor. TCU's recruiting numbers are up according to the services and it will be interesting to see what GP can do with some higher rated recruiting classes. I am a homer fan but I would think he would do better. And as a TCU fan, whether we are at LSU's level every year is besides the point for me, I am perfectly ok with us being in a position where we are consistently a Top 10 or Top 15 team in the country and now have the opportunity to play for a national title if the pieces all come together in a season. I am not greedy. I am humble. I remember the years when going to a bowl game was a major goal.

And I believe we can win big at TCU because we are doing that with our baseball program right now which is at the same level as LSU if not arguably better. But I can see why you might think differently.

So your argument that TCU is legit is to compare them to Arkansas and MSST?
TCU would finish 5th in the West at best. Behind Bama,LSU,Auburn, and Aggie/Arkie/MSST/or OM.

Put LSU in the Big 12 and ask yourself what happens? OU is the only threat, followed by Texas if they get their shite together.

You guys really need to look at the context of these posts. My reply was to a comment saying TCU doesn't compare to anyone in the SEC. That's simply not true.
