First let me start with the obvious question...How much did it cost you?

Secondly, have you seen enough improvement in your ball striking to justify the expenditure?

Lastly, have your scores gone down or do you find yourself having a more enjoyable round due to hitting the ball on the center of the clubface more often?

I normally shoot somewhere between 85-92, and have not had a proper fitting. I'm looking for something to put me over the hump and keep it in the 80s every time out. Obviously the answer is practice, practice, practice; but how much better would my practice be served by getting fitted?

$150 for irons and driver.

It really wasn't until I could break 90 consistently that I thought new clubs were worth it. I started with a used set of Ping G20s that were really forgiving. Got fitted for Apex CF16s and added at least 10 yards. Irons are about the specs. Driver is a whole different story.
Head, shaft, and specs are all important there.

Yes and Yes.

Even to the point where I'm considering getting fit again just to see if anything has changed in the last year as my HC went from a 15 to a 6. I don't necessarily want new clubs but I'd like to know if my specs are different.

But like you mentioned, it has more to do with practice and getting out there and working on things consistently. And lessons help as well because it gives you a better understanding of what you're feeling as you practice and what adjustments you may need to make.

~100 for Driver.. can't remember exactly. Some places will give you a free fitting if you buy through them I think.

Yes, I gained 20-25 yards on average off the tee. I brought my old driver and hit it with my new driver and the difference was almost unbelievable.

I cant really say if I'm scoring "better" per say because it was just driver that I got fitted for, but I hit more fairways and enjoy getting out and play because of the new club. It's fun to hit.

Probably a lot, if you get the tools your practice may pay off more. You probably will get results going out and practice in general, but with the right sticks, it may pay off more.

I'm sure Calloway's stronger lofts had something to do with that also

Absolutely. And I've discussed that with people recently. I'm curious what my game would be like with players irons (non blades) with the standard lofts. My gaps would take adjusting to but I'd get more control.
