3 reasons why Adrian Peterson is here to start for New Orleans

Seems legit
I was listening to “The Sports Coma with Big Q & The Guys” and the guys were commenting about Adrian Peterson and how they thought that “AP isn’t coming here to back up anybody.” That comment got me thinking of what’s pushing AP — a 1st ballot Hall of Fame running back — to return from the latest batch of injuries yet again.
Whodat

Does who starts really even matter?
We gonna feed the hot hand. Whoever is more efficient will get the carries. Who is in for the first snap shouldnt matter to those guys.

Just think how bad arse our offense will be if Peterson returns to his old self....

Whoever has the hot hand will lead for the game.
If Ingram starts a drive 5/30 and Peterson starts a drive 5/20, better keep running Ingram.

Im more concerned about how many touches he will get compared to the other RB's we have. The kid from Tennessee looks like a solid RB that deserve touches too.... and of course Mark Ingram....

this is the correct answer although I expect there are still Ingram haters that would still rather run Peterson in this scenario.

Kamara will most likely be Drews screen back, dude can catch and is elusive in open field

AP is going to dominate some drives and Ingram will throw hissy fits on the sideline. Water is wet.

AP will be number one. He's way better than Ingram.

I'll go with the Minnesota FO pushing him out the door
And until CSP names him the #1 RB he's the #2 RB.

Kamara reminds me so much of Pierre Thomas it's crazy.

I'm freaking excited about Kamara. If he can stay healthy (he has knee issues), he'll be an excellent fit in the offense.
Just get him in some open space and he'll make it happen.

I just want to win so does not matter to me but I would bet it won't be long until AP becomes the starter.
I would then also bet MI wants a trade at the end of the season and so begins the Kamara era.
I wonder who starts this game?

Kamara is nearly a half-second faster in 40 times, but he'll be utilized similarly to Pierre, Reggie and Sproles.

Definitely not completely different players. Watch them play. Kamara is faster yes, but doesn't have breakaway speed either. Both have an incredible ability to shed tacklers and it's eery how similar they look in that regard. Kamara isn't just a pass catching back either. Hopefully he'll be an asset to the Saints for a long time because he could end up being a very good all purpose back. Kamara is a more explosive version of Pierre more than he is a Sproles clone IMO

Look I loved Pierre Thomas , he was a great utility back, and was a major reason we won a Super Bowl . That being said, Kamara has far more upside strictly from an athletic standpoint . I think the closest comparison would be Reggie bush but he's not quite as fast , what he lacks in speed he makes up in elusiveness and moxy. Kid may end up being a big time player in Peyton's offense .

With the way payton utilizes running backs,,,its hard for me to envision him being successful. he never gives his rb an opportunity to get in a rhythm. IMO.

I miss watching PT23 on screen plays
