There will no doubt be frustration when it seems like we're getting 0 and negative yardage too much, but it provides infinitely more advantages than the toss-dive.

I suspect it will offer more opportunity to exploit defensive weaknesses, but when we go up against teams that can match up one on one it will just look like another gimmick offense. My hope is that Canada will be more creative than past OCs and be able to come up with multiple schemes and not get stuck on one a la SS option/toss dive.

It's the type of play that can make a defense like Alabama's pay big-time for overcommitting into our backfield, freezing their d-linemen and LBs for enoigh time for Etling to drop back and get a pass off.

The toss power (and dive) gets the same effect or even more when run in conjunction with the toss sweep a few times a game .... ..that play LSU rarely ran.
