Trumpkins believe Trump is rustling our jimmies when he tweets. As if we shaking our fists while yelling "damn you, you clever rascal, you've stumped us again."

No, no we don't. Trumpkins? Most of us think it's funny, and it is. It serves a larger purpose as well. But mostly we want our agenda passed, and most don't care what you think we think.

Frankly, the above paragraph applies to quite a lot of elected Republicans as well. Some "principled conservatives' bureaucrats, and many posters on this board.

A lot of us are equal opportunity haters. Fair minded. We dislike all garage regardless of how that garbage self identifies.

You think inane tweets about a cable tv talkshow host help advance his agenda?

Then, why do you cry like Nancy Kerrigan every time he tweets?

You hysterical woman

TRUMP'S twitter neow is the news! Our President sets the narrative each day for the whole country!

Donald Trump is well past the age where addictions are pretty much impossible to overcome and he's so stubborn he's pretty much set for the remainder of his life. What you see is what you get.

I just hope it doesn't completely kill what's left of the agenda.

I still do wish he would give the twitter a rest because at some point it becomes overkill that dilutes the message.

I have never liked some of his name calling. This is one I don't care for. But yes, it serves a purpose. Other name calling he does is pretty funny.

Seriously, if you don't like it the solution in this country is an election. I was on here while Obama was POTUS, did you ever see daily vomiting of posts bitching from me?

No he doesn't. He draws the media in, they whine and attack him more, and, in doing so, he succeeds in separating more people from the media. People do not care about the maligning the media, but the media thinks they do.

There has been multiple times where his tweets completely overshadowed the agenda.

Nobody was talking about Kates law being passed and the travel ban having a smooth rollout the last few days because they were talking about the president's shitposts.

Sometimes Trump can't get out of his own way in highlighting his agenda's success.

Do you honestly think the media would report on the smooth rollout of the Muslim ban?

I understand this but at some point it becomes overkill and a much duller knife like the left did with the racist insult against conservatives.

Ronald Reagan never attacked the media to the level Trump did and he still wound up as the GOAT POTUS of the last 80 years while dealing with a democrat congress.

I said I didn't care for some of his tweets. However I personally don't care if they overshadow successful items. The pending ones concern me. But I don't care about what happens with health care either. I hope nothing happens and it collapses. His tweets during the "travel ban" might have had impact, but I suspect the activist courts would have been activist in their absence.

They just don't have the same impact as some really sorry Congress people, some of then Republican.

Yup. This last week was supposed to be "Energy week". And his idiotic tweet about Mika sure didn't help the senate's effort to pass the HC bill.

Distracting people by pooping your own pants doesn't help.

This whole 3d chess idea is ludicrous. He has the senate and House and has yet to produce 1 significant piece of legislation.

That stuff happened because they were distracted by his tweets. Just like all the conservative federal judge appointments. Trump stirs up shite on twitter and while they're looking the other way, he does substantive things that they would otherwise be flipping out about.

I had hoped he would have picked that up from Hillary.
