Since CP3 and Harden haven't played together, and CC lost arguably their 2nd most important player in PBev, along w Lou, are they on a "prove it" year or you thinking top 5
The Rockets have already proven for the past 5 years that they are a top team in the West. Whether they had Parsons, Lin, Dwight, Gordon and Anderson, etc, they have been successful.

The Pelicans have yet to prove anything that gives me confidence in them being a winning team, much less a top 6 or 7 team in the entire league. Even when Boogie joined the team they still didn't have a winning record.

Of course they can and most likely will improve with a full off-season together, but they just haven't shown anything that inspires confidence.

I'm not sold on Minnesota making a massive jump to a top 5 spot. Playoff team? Sure.

I'm also not ready to give up on Utah. I think they keep Ingles and Hayward and make another deal or two where they ship Exum out. I really like Donovan Mitchell for them too and think he will have positive contributions in a limited role this year.
