The Scharff guy has been studying and commenting on NO crime for years and is not prone to hyperbole. But keep telling yourself it's all just peachy.

BS We've had douchy mayors for years and years. The reality is we've had a douchy demographic for years and years and that results in bad mayors, high crime and other social dysfunction.

OR, we have a vested interest in it because many of us live in it and don't like having to live and travel in that shite, and because it's our city, state, region, etc.
Your problem is you never take ownership of it and hold people accountable for it, so it continues.. that's the real Louisiana tradition. Just accept it and pass the red beans and rice. That is why it continues.
