So, you think the reason that the type of insult people of ALL STRIPES choose to use varies depending on the target of the insult has to do with maturity?

First off. It can. I never said it couldn't.

But, the answer is really simple if all you do is ask yourself a few questions. Maybe these will help.

But first, acknowledge that EVERYONE varies their insults in this way.

What type insult is typically levied at a black person when someone is very angry? No, I'm not being hyper specific her and thinking N-word. More generally, when someone is pissed at a black person, what's the go to category?

K. How about for white men?

How about for Asian men?

How about Tall women?

How about VERY southern people?

As you answer these, you'll start to figure something out.

People choose their insults based on potential effect and they determine potential effect by that they have learned HAS the most effect socially.

That's why it's not just men that insult women based on their looks. WOMEN do it too!

Insults are a function of what the TARGET values or is typically thin skinned about or what is obvious.
