Huh?

Coomes/Slaughter was the only real moving part once Watson settled in.

I think Skip once said he wanted his lineup cemented by Tax Day. Watson didn't "settle in" until post-season batting 5th. Our lineup was too fluid, too late in the season to maximize its potential.

Not sure what's funny about suggesting Reid should DH vs righties and Beau vs lefties. They hit about the same in '16.

3) The entire regular season needs to be shaped to get to and compete in Omaha.

What does this even mean?

That it's better to lose a game here-n-there throughout the regular season if it means being better prepared for the post-season. Ben McDonald noted in one of the CWS broadcasts about how pitchers (especially freshmen) are tired. So maybe we should consider resting the young arms someway throughout the season. Not sure I'm splainin' this well.

When it was clear the top of the batting order wasn't hitting, I wish PM had gone all "Skip" on his team (see Warren Morris) in game 2 vs. Florida and replaced at least one of the 1-2-3 batters with a non-starter.

Plus, I hope for his sake that KRob un-dyes and cuts his hair.
