A handful of cops for a street filled with thousands of people is pitiful. I was on Bourbon for a bachelor party in April and counted about 6 NOPD from Canal to Lafitte's. that is terrible.

well, ya, ive criticize the city for not having enough police
too bad the residents voted down the amendment in 2016 to add 400+ police officers

It is a sketchy block, do you consider thugs and homeless sitting there welcoming ?

i thought that bourbon-canal intersection was pretty sacred ground. it's the entry to bourbon for most tourists, right?
The fun part about being a tourist in New Orleans is the adventure of knowing, no matter where you are, you are never more than about 2-3 blocks from being where you're not supposed to be.
And, of course, if something bad happens to you, it's obviously just because you weren't a savvy enough traveler to properly figure this out. Sorry.

That's what happens when the majority of your electorate is dumb as shite. Property taxes never seem to have a problem.

Ah that explains it. Another one of those transplant locals who know everything about the city.

Landrieu should institute a mandatory NOLA streets guidebook class to all incoming travelers at MSY

Yea, a link to that would totally exist. I'll post one right after you post a link to your claim.

Then you didn't see everything. Must have been a super fun party if counting cops was on your mind.

Said I thought there was one nearby.

That's been my observation since around 2014, Bourbon and FQ are woefully under patrolled. Are you arguing otherwise?
