I can't believe this thread is still alive.
A sad LSU fan is using a suicide to troll Alabama on TD. Of course it's still alive. It's all some pathetic members of the LSU fanbase have left after 1/9

Has Clay Travis picked up on this story yet? He wouldn't shy away from digging in this dirt.

Quit making this about your football team. Nobody cares.

Isnt he a sports writer though? This isn't specifically about football or Sports it's bigger than that it's not only the university it's from what I learned a combination of political clout money banking industry protection. I believe the police sheriff has a history of protecting mr. Bunn and his motivation stems from his wife's job and possibly his friendship or his campaign contributions from the bunn company.
But the machine protects itself at all cost. They do not want any kinks in the armor. Everyone must protect everyone else in order for the machine to stay intact.

Right. Because that's all this is, 'just' a suicide right? Not a girl who was brushed off by the hospital, police, and eventually her own school. UA rape crisis 'counselors' wanted nothing to do with her. She was so harassed in Tuscaloosa for having the temerity to accuse one of the moneyed families that she had to transfer, and eventually tragically ended her own life.
This is awful, and this girl was failed on many levels. But you keep telling yourself this is just a troll job.

UA trolls downvoting the above post, which is inarguable. Classic.

Clay is a lawyer as well, and his OTC blog has taken on a slew of non sports related issues. He's done stories on the REC and the Machine before. The gumps don't think very highly of him.

They have amended the lawsuit to include the university and the president of the university.

TUSCALOOSA, AL (AP) -
The University of Alabama is now a defendant in a lawsuit by the parents of a Texas woman who killed herself after reporting that she was sexually assaulted while attending the school.
Court records show Megan Rondini's parents added Alabama and its president to their federal lawsuit over her treatment following the alleged assault in 2015. She killed herself last year. Her parents live in Austin, Texas.

The amended lawsuit filed Wednesday says the university failed to protect Rondini from a man whose relatives are big donors to Alabama athletics. It says the university violated its own policies and federal law.
The amended lawsuit drops claims against a former counselor and the head of a university office that deals with women's issues.
The school says in a statement it will "vigorously defend" itself.
