I believe a lot of people would disagree with this point. The story was very coherent. It may have been fictional but that is pretty much every story told

I loved LOST but disagree, the last few seasons were way too sloppy to be a GOAT example of writing.

Literally the worst thing about the show was the writing. There are a lot of good things about the show, and it was a crazy frustrating and fun experience, but the overall narrative was sort of awful.
They used a metric ton of plot devices and convenient shortcuts to get Lost done.
