From yesterday's Angry Beaver board:

"Watching Gilbert answer these questions, he comes across as a nice, laid-back guy. He also comes across as a guy who does not have a ton of respect for OSU’s hitters. His underlying attitude — and that of others at LSU — seems to be that the Beavers have been unmasked as a team of “lookers” who prefer to take walks rather than swing the bat. Looking forward to the Beavers proving otherwise today."

So, how'd that work out for 'ya?

that is EXACTLY what they did for 6 of 9 innings. They thought that if they bitched enough they would "fix" the ump. He was of the opinion he didn't need fixing.
