I guess this mean you agree that they should have filed a report in new Orleans?

I could see if a police department was concerned someone was shooting at people on the interstate they could have done something like ask for a picture of the vehicle and check the cameras at the time suggested on the phone. Calling them back after checking and letting them know if it was worth their time to come file a report.

Instead they get the rude run around, no wonder they don't want to waste their time.

You keep bringing up these cameras. Does anyone even know if these cameras exist?

Its not up to the department to determine if its worth their time to file a report.

You file a report and then they investigate. Nothing happens until a report is filed.

Its not being rude, its called getting to the point. I don't know what nopd' s call numbers are, but st tammany had 1300 calls last weekend. That is 25 calls an hour. I cant even imagine what the city of new Orleans gets, so forgive me if I have no pity for someone that doesnt want to wait their turn.

ETA: found a website with nopd calls. Only made it through new years day. Jan1 had 1182 calls, 50 calls/hr. I'm not digging anymore.
