Without being controversial with humans, simply Google "cops shoot dog" and see the amount of hits. Not saying all are bad but it is a lot of write ups. A majority state the dogs are "pit bulls" but that is about as meaningful as labeling a gun an "assault rifle".

I'll be the first one to admit that cops don't receive proper training with handling animal calls. But a lot big breeds serve no purpose besides a public nuisance. Examples pit bulls,Rottweilers, mastiffs ect. Majority of shootings with dogs seem to be the same breeds(boxers,pit bulls)
