At what age do you graduate them from the fisher price plastic set? My daughter just turned 3 and loves to hit balls in the back yard. Cmon scholarship

Thanks to title 9 all you have to do is have her playing golf in high school and she will get a scholarship. US kids golf makes sets for 39 inch tall kids.

I've got my 5 yo son a miniature golf putter to use on the green when he goes with me. He's gonna have to show a lot of interest before I buy him actual clubs he will immediately outgrow.

That's the plan. A pro buddy of mine says. At around a 10 will get her into most school and close to scratch, she gets a full ride anywhere she wants.

This is the set my son has He's had it for about a year now. He's 3.
And ignore the description. It's a 3 piece set with Driver, Pitching Wedge, and Putter. We got ours during an Edwin Watts sale. He swings LH and that's also an option.

He's a bit overplane on the way back, but otherwise looks good

Once he gets it started, he's really on plane.
He's surprised me and really handles a round well. We've done 18 holes 3 times now and 9 holes about 6 or 7 times. No issues yet.
For the OP, I like this set because it fits him better so he's more likely to swing and hit it. The longer clubs (USKids start at clubs fit for 39") are much tougher for him to control.

My girl is a lefty, but I'm going to get her playing right handed.
1) Clubs are easier to find and cheaper long run.
2) My pro buddy tells me it's better because her dominate side will be leading.
She's a tall 3 year old, so I may get a set now and start hitting the range.

Cheaper how?
My son writes and throws right handed. He started swinging a toy bat LH and I never stopped him. For baseball, it's a good thing. May teach him to switch hit.
He's a little on the short side. Only 37" at 3 1/2.

The US Kids Golf clubs also have some starter clubs with a pre-formed grip to help them learn the proper hand placement. My kids started out with one and their hand placement is pretty good for beginners.
